The port complex of Nueva Palmira allows vessels up to 32 ft draught under excellent natural conditions. It is internationally renowned for the exceptional river traffic, connecting the port to the interior of the continent through the Paraguay-Parana Rivers Waterway, affording connection with Bolivia, Brazil (Mato Grosso), Paraguay, Argentina and other Uruguayan ports.
It is the most modern bulk terminal of Uruguay, strategically located in the Port of Montevideo, specialized in the stockpiling and shipping of bulks in general.
Holding the only private berth in the Port of Montevideo and the deepest of the Waterways, allowing for the loading of Panamax and Post Panamax vessels.
